For the past 21 years the Fishers Rotary Club has been meeting the needs of individuals and families throughout the Fishers and Hamilton County community and beyond. Our club is made up of 110 men and women from all types of careers and backgrounds with an average age of 47, all coming together to "make a difference" under a framework of state, national, and international resources. As part of the 32,000 clubs world-wide, and 1.2 million members in 197 countries, we strive to make the world a slightly better place live for those in need, here and around the globe.
We are proud to share with you that 85 non-profit organizations have received donations totaling over $680,000 since our charter in 1992. Our club also annually provides hundreds of volunteer man hours to local community agencies providing a wide range of hands-on help where needed.
Our club actively supports and mentors Interact Clubs (junior Rotary Clubs) at our two local high schools, where we are actively engaged with over 120 Interact club students to help them develop an appreciation of giving back and foster a desire to make a difference in their communities as adults.
All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit those in need in our community either by our direct involvement from our club members or through the work of many worthy non-profit agencies. Here's a sample of the programs we are actively involved with through volunteering and donations.
Youth mentoring through our local high schools
Domestic abuse support services
Food and clothing pantries
